Method Of Making Tire Trimming Blades

The tire trimming blade is a tool used in the final appearance inspection process of tire manufacturing, which is used to remove the "fuzz" generated on the tire after vulcanization process. Tires are processed using molds, which have many small holes for exhaust. After the tire is molded and pressurized, it undergoes a period of heating and vulcanization. As the temperature and time increase, the rubber of the tire gradually softens. When the temperature reaches the viscous flow temperature of the rubber, the rubber will have a certain amount of kinetic energy to flow. At this time, some rubber will flow out of the exhaust holes on the mold. After vulcanization is completed, the rubber solidifies, forming "yarn". After vulcanization, the final process of tire production is external inspection (which is appearance inspection). In this process, these "fuzz" parts on the tire need to be removed, and tire scissors are tools used to remove these "fuzz".

The existing scissor blades are integrated and are precisely driven by the equipment for edge trimming after installation. However, due to the different tire models, it is necessary to change the model of the trimming blade. When the blade is too thick and the blade opening is large, it is only suitable for thicker edges, and the trimming of finer edges is not precise enough. When the blade is thin and the blade opening is small, it is only suitable for finer edges. Trimming finer edges will increase tool wear and damage, and after replacing the tool, it is necessary to correct the control standards of the equipment, which is time-consuming and laborious, affecting the continuity and production efficiency of the processing.
