Product Highlights

Top Bevel. The top of each tooth is ground to a 15° Alternate Top Bevel (ATB) which means the blade shears through the fibers of the wood.

Hook angle. A 20° face hook angle means an easier feed rate.

Side Clearance. The side clearance on the teeth is engineered to allow for a smooth, no-planing/no-jointing finish cut.

Flat Body. The body of the blade is within .001” of being “dead flat”, (.004” to .010” is common on most blades) which results in virtually no wobbling or flutter.

Hard Carbide Teeth. Each tooth is made from double-hard C-4 high-grade carbide, which provides a much longer cutting life than a typical all-purpose table saw blade.

Extra-Thick Teeth. The carbide teeth are extra thick which means the teeth can be sharpened more times over the life of the blade.

Two Kerf Widths Available. The comes in two kerf widths. The 1/8” standard kerf blade is recommended for saws of 1.75 HP and above. Forrest recommends the 3/32” (thin-kerf) blade for 1.5 HP and below.

Cutting Blade For Film Laminating

Our products are professional laminating machine blades designed for effective material cutting. Made with high-quality materials, the blades are sharp, durable, and offer superior longevity compared to standard blades.

Toothed Blade

A Toothed Blade is a type of cutting tool or component that features serrated edges or teeth along its cutting edge. These teeth are designed to grip and cut through materials more effectively, especially when dealing with tough or fibrous materials. Toothed blades are commonly used in various applications such as saws, knives, shredders, and cutting tools where a more aggressive cutting action is required.

Tire Trimming Blade

Blades designed to cut through tire rubber are called tire-cutting blades. They are used to cut old tires into smaller pieces for recycling or disposal in a variety of industries, including trucking, the automotive industry, and waste management.Due to the rough and abrasive nature of cutting through composite materials, tire-cutting blades must be durable and wear-resistant.

FAQ

Q: What are your shipping options?

A: We offer various shipping options, including FedEx, DHL and UPS. Shipping cost and delivery time vary based on the destination and the selected shipping method. A tracking number will be provided once your order is shipped for you to track your delivery.

Q: Can I get technical support for tool usage?

A: Absolutely, our team of experts is available to assist with technical support and guidance on tool applications.

Q: What is the typical lead time for orders?

A: Lead time varies by product but typically ranges from 1-3 weeks. Standard tools can be shipped within 24 hours if they’re in stock, while custom tools may take 1-3 weeks.

Q: What is a toothed plane blade for?

A: The toothed blades allow fast material removal with minimal tear-out, even when working with difficult grain, particularly knots. They are also useful for leaving witness marks to indicate what parts of the work you still need to finish, or for texturing a surface for veneer.

Q: What is a toothed blade?

A: A toothed blade is a blade that has teeth on its edge. Toothed blades are often used for sawing, slicing, or cutting through rigid materials. The most common type of toothed blade is the saw blade. Saw blades have sharp teeth that cut through wood, metal, or other materials.

Q: What blades cut grass the best?

A: The slight curve and higher lift better pulls the blade up for a more precise cut. A medium lift blade is recommended on thicker grass such as bluegrass or St. Augustine. A high lift blade delivers maximum airflow for the best cut.

Q: What blade is toothed like a saw?

A: A serrated blade has a toothlike rather than a plain edge, and is used on saws and on some knives and scissors. It is also known as a dentated, sawtooth, or toothed blade.

Q: How to sharpen a toothed plane blade?

A: Toothing blades are sharpened exactly like non-toothing irons. Flatten the back, grind a bevel and hone. The teeth are on the flat face so they don't interfere with sharpening at all. I grind the bevel then hone the blade up to 8000 grit on my water stones.

Q: What is a Japanese tooth blade used for?

A: The Japanese Tooth Blade is a must-have tool for quick and easy bridle joints.

Q: Can mower blades be too sharp?

A: In fact, an edge that is that sharp has the tendency to roll over, which can cause blades to get nicked and chipped. Additionally, lawn mower blades that are too sharp get duller, faster resulting in the need to sharpen more frequently and a shorter blade life.
