Tire Trimming Blade

High Hardness
Our tire trimming blade is made of heat-treated M2 grade high-speed steel (HSS) material with a hardness of HRC 64±1, which is 25-30% higher than ordinary carbon steel blades. The high hardness enables it to easily cut thicker and heavier tires, avoiding wear or deformation of the blade due to the hard material.

Strong Corrosion Resistance
The blade surface has a 2μm thick TiN (titanium nitride) coating. After 1000 hours of salt spray test (5% NaCl solution, 35°C), the corrosion depth of the blade surface does not exceed 0.001mm, while ordinary blades will have a corrosion depth of more than 0.1mm after 200 hours.

Good Thermal Stability
The special alloy composition (containing 4.5% Mo, 6% W, 5% Cr) makes our blades have high thermal stability. At a working temperature of 250℃ for 8 hours, the hardness and sharpness of the blade will not decay by more than 5%. In contrast, the hardness of common blades on the market will drop by 15-20% after working at 180℃ for 4 hours.

Safety
The back of the tire trimming blade is specially treated to form a 20μm deep micro-level anti-slip texture, and the friction coefficient reaches 0.8, which is 60% higher than that of ordinary blades, greatly reducing the risk of slipping during operation. At the same time, the blade edge adopts a safety chamfer, which increases the pressure dispersion area during accidental contact by 300% and reduces the risk of injury by 65%.
