This inner ear loop cutter is specially ground for elastic rope cutting. We finely polish the cutting edge to deliver clean separation without stretching or tearing the elastic strap. We prepare two kinds of raw materials to fit different production schedules. High speed steel works well for regular shifts, while solid carbide keeps sharpness for 24-hour continuous mass production.

Two Material Choices & Service Life

1. High Speed Steel (HSS) High toughness, not easy to chip during reciprocating cutting. It is the cost-effective choice for 8-hour daily mask production.
2. Tungsten Carbide Ultra-high hardness and wear resistance. Its service life is 3~5 times longer than HSS blades, ideal for non-stop automatic production lines.

Both blades go through multi-step edge grinding to avoid pulling elastic fibers.

Blade Installation & Daily Maintenance

1. Turn off the whole machine power before replacing the cutter, and lock the safety device.
2. Remove the used blade and clear residual elastic fiber on the blade holder.
3. Align the new blade and tighten the fixing screws evenly to avoid high-speed shaking.
4. Run an empty machine test first, then start continuous ear strap cutting.
5. Clean fiber residue on the cutting edge every 4 hours to reduce edge abrasion.
6. Keep spare blades sealed in dry packing to prevent rust.
